Outdoor furniture in this climate has to survive a monsoon and then a summer. The Verandah is built from teak that has been pressure-treated and oiled rather than varnished — varnish blisters in the sun, oil simply needs re-applying.
Cushions use quick-dry reticulated foam under a marine-grade fabric, so they drain instead of holding water.
