Terms & Conditions

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. An order is confirmed only once the advance payment has been received and the specification — dimensions, material, finish and fabric — has been approved by you in writing.

Custom and made-to-order pieces are built to the approved specification. Changes requested after production has begun may attract additional charges, which will be quoted and approved before any further work is carried out.

Catalogue prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Standard payment terms are 50% advance at the time of order confirmation and the balance before dispatch.

For project and bulk orders, milestone-based payment schedules can be agreed in writing at the time of the order.

Delivery timelines quoted are working-day estimates from the date of order confirmation. Ready stock is typically delivered within 3–5 working days; made-to-order pieces take 3–5 weeks depending on finish.

Delivery, assembly, levelling and removal of packaging are included within our standard service area. Deliveries outside that area, or requiring crane, hoist or specialised access, are chargeable and will be quoted separately.

You are responsible for ensuring that ordered furniture can physically reach its intended location through available doorways, staircases and lifts. We are happy to advise on this before the order is placed.

Furniture manufactured by Kodi Furniture carries a 5-year warranty against structural defects in the frame, joinery and load-bearing hardware, under normal domestic use.

Fabric, foam, finish and moving hardware are warranted for 12 months against manufacturing defects. Completed service work carries a 6-month warranty.

The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accident, water ingress, pest infestation, unauthorised modification or repair by a third party, or normal wear such as fading and patina.

Ready-stock items may be cancelled without charge before dispatch, and returned within 7 days of delivery in unused, undamaged condition; return transport is chargeable.

Made-to-order and custom pieces are built to your specification and cannot be cancelled once production has begun, nor returned except where a manufacturing defect is established.

Service inspections are free. Work begins only after you approve the written quote. Items taken to our workshop are insured while in our custody.

We reserve the right to decline a service booking where a piece is structurally unsafe to repair, and will explain our reasoning if we do.

Designs, drawings, photographs and written content published on this website are the property of Kodi Furniture and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Our liability in respect of any order or service is limited to the value of that order or service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
